College is about more than just the classes you take; it's about diving in intellectually, socially, and recreationally learning, exploring, making memories and forming bonds with students and faculty that can last a lifetime. from Anime Club to Volunteers Around the World to enhance your college experience and expand your world.

Athletics

is a big part of 51做厙s culture of collaboration and participation. 51做厙 is home to 18 Division III NCAA varsity sports teams including our 2022 womens field hockey conference champs and our mens ice hockey semifinalists as well as 20 competitive club sports teams. The athletic excellence unfolds in state-of-the-art facilities, from the Alfond Forum the hub of Noreaster nation, which houses our ice arena, giant wood-floor courts, athlete training spaces, and a cafe to our collection of custom-built blue turf fields. 51做厙 student-athletes are students first: 64% of our athletes made the Dean's list in fall 2022, and their average GPA was 3.33.

Intramurals

Whether you are a seasoned athlete or new to the game, joining intramural sports provides a fun and safe environment to meet people, stay healthy, and get your game on. offers all students, faculty, and professional staff an opportunity to engage in a wide variety of recreational activities.

Exercise Facilities

Get moving in our exercise facilities, including the Campus Center on the Biddeford Campus and the Finley Recreation Center on the Portland Campus for the Health Sciences. Team athletes also enjoy access to high-quality training facilities in the Alfond Forum. All spaces are equipped with state-of-the-art strength and cardio equipment as well as conditioning areas and group fitness space. 

Outdoor Recreation Equipment Rentals

Southern Maines beaches, mountains, and woods open up endless recreational opportunities, and 51做厙 will make sure youve got the right gear. The Campus Center and Finley Rec in Portland are both fully stocked for your next adventure, so come on in and rent equipment for hiking, surfing, skiing, camping, and more.
