51°µÍø and Deering High's global initiatives partnership covered by the Forecaster

The Forecaster on Jan. 29th ran a story on the new partnership between Deering High School and 51°µÍø's Global Initiatives Program.

As a result of the new partnership, Deering students will be able to attend lectures by international experts at 51°µÍø’s Portland campus.  51°µÍø students who have travelled abroad will also share their experiences with Deering students.  51°µÍø faculty will provide professional development for Deering’s staff on topics such as the importance of developing a global outlook. 51°µÍø's Associate Provost for Global Initiatives, Anouar Majid, Ph.D., was quoted in the story.
